CRITICAL THINKING CHALLENGE

The Critical Thinking Challenge engages students to solve problems that Eye Level will facilitate.

Who:

Students in 3rd through 6th grade during the 2015-2016 school year may participate. 

When: First Round. The first round will take place on May 7, 2016 at each Eye Level Center. Students will compete individually in the first round.  The Center Director will then choose one two-person team from each center to compete in the regional/final round.  Regional/Final Round.  Regional/final round participants will rsvp their response for attending.  Note that the two-person teams competing in this final round will be against all other teams regardless of grade.  For students traveling more than 200 miles for the regional/final round, they will receive a stipend of $120 per student. Proof of stay at a hotel is required to receive this stipend. Eye Level staff will collect proof of receipts when entering final round competition.

 

Prize:Each regional winning team will be awarded $1,000.  Winning teams must prove their grade/school of attendance before cash prize is awarded.Marketing of Event:Parents must register their children for the event at www.criticalthinkingchallenge.com beginning February 15, 2016.  There is no cost to join this event.
